Why you should read it: I love crossovers, or rather let me say, I love crossovers that actually have the two sets of characters interacting in realistic ways according to their personalities. Too often, the crossover is simply a fanfest in order to put the author's favorite people in the limelight. Not this one. joonscribble has carefully reproduced the voices and personalities of Harry and Bob (Dresden Files) and original Team Torchwood, bringing them together in an uneasy alliance to rid the Hub of a lingering ghost. The stakes are high; not only life or death, but life, death, or the damning of an immortal soul...which of course Jack doesn't believe in. To say there is conflict between Jack and Harry would be putting it mildly.

Even if you haven't seen/read The Dresden Files, you should read this. The author has a deft hand at portraying character with a light touch, using few words and telling actions. Add to that an interesting plot, an edge of your seat action sequence, an exploration of Jack and Ianto's characters as well as their relationship, and you've got an excellent read. Try it on a stormy night, the perfect time for telling ghost stories.
