Because February 22nd is Oscar night... Because Captain Jack has a flair for the dramatic... Because it sounded like fun... And most of all because we didn't have enough stress in our lives already, Torchwood House is proud to bring you The Captain's Awards!
For your pleasure and enjoyment, we've recced a number of Torchwood vids over the last several months. We're going to be setting up polls to allow you to vote for your favorites in several categories, with a big reveal coming on February 22nd (US time) in honor of the Oscars. There will be shiny icons and "Jacks" for the winners to cherish forever!
All the vids on our Master Vid List that are still available will be in the running, so if you'd like to start viewing some of them again now in preparation, be our guest. You will find that some of these vids have been lost due to recent YouTube policies. If anyone out there knows the vidder, or knows where to find these vids, please let us know with comments to this post. We'd love to be able to include every one of these wonderful vids in The Captain's Awards.
Voting will be open to everyone.
Please note: if you've recced vids to us but do not see them here yet, there's a very good chance that we simply did not get to them yet. We've been running from our own backlog for a while now. Don't Panic! All vids recced after this point in time will be eligible for next year's Jacks.
