Written for omnijaxual back in October, and not previously crossposted. It’s a vague sequel to my Jack/Inara fic, A Dance to the Music of Time, but you don't need to have read it for this to make sense. I did write one part of a Torchwood/Firefly crossover as a previous sequel to that story, but it rather stalled. I may go back to it, but some of what I did have for part 2 of that fit the Jack/Serenity and Kaylee/Serenity prompts, so here you go :)
After Persephone, River’d been talking about Inara’s belly singing, and Kaylee’d known that after she’d done her bedding, this time, Inara had been bedded herself.
