Wondering about posting fic

I've been a lurker in TW fandom for quite a while now, and I've got a story that I'm not exactly sure where to post. Oddly enough it was inspired by a trope in another fandom, and when I checked the kinkmeme for this fandom there didn't seem to be anything that fit. It's definitely....different in that regard than a lot of what I've seen for this lovely couple, but I've been told by my friend who betas for me that it's totally worth putting out there. However, because it is so different I don't want to drop it in the wrong comm and have people throwing proverbial tomatoes at me ;) Can someone advise? I'm willing to share a little more about it via PM if someone wants more info before making a suggestion.
