Oh so rare Lisablog.
I'm coming up on my 2nd last semester in college, and it promises to be quick and painless. Who knew an accounting degree would be so easy?
Soon I will be up and away, and off to bigger, brighter, and more dangerous places. I'm very much looking forward to the adventures that lay before me. Still, I can't help but wonder if, after living in Baton Rouge for eight years, I will ever miss this place? I know the saying goes that you have to leave a place in order to appreciate it. But I say that you have to periodically return to remember exactly why you left. A little pessimistic, but true nonetheless.
There have been a few tragedies in my personal life, as well as numerous others in those around me. 2009 has started off very rocky for many people. A brief moment of reflection and hopes for a brighter future (or rest of 2009).
