Back From Conclave...
I just got back from the Tennessee State DeMolay Association's Annual State Conclave. It is an annual convention-type event which occures in Nashville during the second week of July. DeMolay compete in ritual and sport competitions and get trophies which are showcased at their DeMolay chapter's lodge. What is DeMolay? Anyways, I competed in Sixth Preceptor, one of or ritual competitions (It is sorta like a public speaking contest for certain parts of our ritual), and I got third place. I would have done better if it wasn't for the fact that I started to start studying it on the day before! ~.^; I am bored... We got to get free personalized Airbrushed T-Shirts this year, And I got my name in Japanese Kanji on the back, in green and black. I was the last person to get one. I waited 5 hours since they started, because I ecided to help out the Airbrush guy. Ugg! There was this one kid nicknamed "Sparky" who wanted a exploding firecracker. He got it. Then He wanted the "Stars" that the other shirts had gotten (A technique that uses a single color that makes four pinted stars with a sort of "Flare" technique making it look like a shining star.) He called them "Sparles". And it was 11:30 pm and the airbrush guy still had 10 shirts left. We made him leave. He came back 2 minutes later yelling "I WANT SPARKLES! I WANT SPARKLES!" We chased him outside of the building. THen he came back and me and the airbrush guy traped him in a corner, then I picked him up and threw him out of the building. He never came back in. ^^; Other than that, I had a good time. We went to Oprymills Mall Saturday, I went into Barnes and Noble and spent my whole time reading comic books (Sailor Moon). Then, whem I had only 30 minutes before I had to leave, I tried to explre the rest of the mall when I was told by my friend I had to go, THAT MALL IS SOOO HUGE! O.O; But, I had a good time and can't wait till next years Conclave. I have to go now, Mom's orders.
