Carrie says I'm going to win the cool neighbor of the year award...
But really, what's not to love about walking up to your 7-year old neighbors and saying,
"Hey, you wanna go inside and ask your Mom if you can come to my house and smash pumpkins with a hammer?"
Their faces alone were worth it.
Two helmets, two hammers, twenty minutes and twelve pumpkins later, my rotty old pumpkins are composting in the backyard, I can decorate the yard for Christmas, and I've done my part to make the world a happier place :-)
