Pain.. Something familiar, yet the only thing that seemed familiar. Leina's eyes slowly opened as her hand moved to cover her side. As she did, she felt pain flame down her arm.
"Master.." Rolling to her side, Leina carefully pushed herself to her feet. Her eyes scanned the land around her carefully, her eyes and nose twitching as she picked up the faint sound of voices and dry wood.
With no desire to move towards people, Leina turned her nose away from the heavy scent of warm blood, seeking the fresh scent of cool water instead.
