New LiveJournal community aspie_furs
I often hear about Asperger Syndrome within the furry fandom. I'm a diagnosed aspie, and I was recently looking at yet another post by a furry having to do with AS. I figured, hey, maybe we might have something to say to one another. I do.
So, I've created the aspie_furs for us. If you consider yourself a furry, and believe you have or have been diagnosed with AS, you're encouraged to join up.
If not, feel free to track and reply to the public posts on the journal if you like, but please don't join up; I'd like the friends-locked community posts to be usable as venting space for us. Having AS can be a frustrating experience, in a way that is difficult to get across to someone who doesn't.
Forgive me if there's already something like this; I did a few searches and didn't find anything.
