A rundown:
After my last post, I worked on my project some more. Next thing I know, I'm in bed, Dad's trying to wake me up, it's less than 10 minutes before my class starts, and my project's still not complete.
Well.... shit.
I managed to finish it at school (got to school, picked a cozy spot, and finished it right before going to the class) I got to class late (like 30 or 45 minutes late... I honestly cant remember the time details too well). Nick (a classmate/friend) said that the professor had already taken everything out of the network folder, but if I talked to him he might make another trip to said folder. My computer wouldnt take flashdrives (oh lucky me) so I used Nick's computer to turn in my project. He and Mariam pointed out that I was missing a lamp, and so I made a quick one up right then and there. (Made a long cylinder, copied one of my bowls, flipped it over and placed it on top of the cylinder... wha-lah! instant lamp.)
When I got home, I was so out of it. And I still had not only my internet studio hw to do, but I had to grab the assignment that told me what to do off the professor's webpage. Should've grabbed that while Stephen was at his tutor, but that would've required thinking, which requires a working brain, which I did not have. (And which I still do not have -_-') It was pretty bad. I was online for about 5 minutes before it occurred to me that I was able to get the assignment. >.< And then, right when I clicked on the link for the UTD site, my mom kicks me off. Cuz Stephen needed it for "just a minute." Two hours later, he's still on, and mom tells me that everyone had somewhere to go the next day and that I was leaving with them at 8am to go to school. I talked to a college buddy and told her that since i'm gonna be at school earlyl, we can meet at 9:30 and hang out before her class. Not long after that I went to bed and IMMEDIATELY conked out.
I woke up this morning about 5 minutes to 8 (everyone was running late this morning). We didn't leave til about 15 or 20 min after, and my mom said that she didn't have enough time to drop me off and then get to where she needs to be on time. So I went with them to whatever the school's name is so Stephen can be tested. Special testing stuff for his autism and for college. HOWEVER, there was a shooter in the parking lot in the Alberson's nearby, and so the place was under LOCK DOWN CONDITIONS. >.< @#$%... An hour later we finally meet up with the person whom my mom/brother had the appointment with, and about 45 minutes later the whole lock down thing was released. They found the shooter, and that he had gone to an apartment in the complex next to the school, shot his mother, and then shot himself.
Around 11 I finally left for school. Oh, and btw, I ended up calling Mariam and told her I couldn't make it. ;_; two times i've told her that i'd meet up with her and both times i ended up not being able to make it. And i'm out of my ritalin LA, there was apparently a miscommunication yesterday when i called it in (i blame the nurse who picked up the phone. i got the impression that she normally isnt at the phones) and i ended up getting MORE of my regular ritalin. So i'm gonna be running off of that today.
And gmail is really really hating me today. It keeps disconnecting me.
And then, a couple of days ago I started getting this green vertical line on my laptop screen. If I take a screenshot, it doesn't show up on the pic, and it used to be that I 'd just move the screen a certain way, it would go away,but it's been getting worse. It's getting thicker, brighter, and it's really really hard to get it to go away now. There's a certain spot on the back of my laptop screen that if I press down on it, the line disappears, but when I release it, it comes back. I figure that it's either a wire or the screen itself. Hopefully it's a fixable wire, but if it's the screen.... Well, I'm screwed as far as my laptop goes. (The screen's only the second most expensive part of a laptop, the first being the motherboard which my last laptop had issues with. Watch my next laptop have problems with the 3rd most expensive thing...) It CAN be worked around, I can still use the laptop, besides having a green line stuck on the screen it works perfectly fine, but it's just really annoying, especially when you're working with maya and there's a whole bunch of other lines on the screen or when you're watching a dvd... Oh, and recently (like, starting today) it randomly turns magenta. Either all or just parts of the line, but only parts that are overlapping parts of the screen that are pure white)
;_;
And i have still yet to do my internet studio hw, which is due in 8 min. But i'm at the point where i really dont give a damn anymore. Gonna go to class and conk out now. g'nite everyone.
