Honesty
“Torashi! Stop that!”
Giggles and small screams floated out into the corridor. Nao paused just in front of the door, his hand gripping tightly on the mug of coffee he was holding.
Stop it, he told himself, forcibly relaxing his grip.
“But you’re so cute to tease, Pon!”
Giggle.
Nao’s knuckles were white. This hasn’t been the first time and somehow, he knew it certainly wouldn’t be the last. And he was so sick of this.
Swallowing, Nao turned around and walked away. He reached the rooftop of the building and looked out towards the endless skies.
He told himself that he was being unreasonable.
But he knew he wasn’t.
Because not even an hour ago, Tora had refused his company, saying that he had something to tend to.
Nao supposes that he had only been bleedingly honest.
After all, it seems like he has someone better to tend to.
