Hey, guys, remember when I used to write? Yeah, me too. That was fun. I'm stealing this meme from
harborshore in the hope of getting the writing juices flowing again:
Give me two characters (bandom [Panic!, TYV, MCR], Merlin, DH4, NCIS, American Idol, and maybe HP*) and I'll tell you about them cuddling. Crossovers are also okay.

He moves his foot back and feels it connect with Arthur's knee, not quite a kick because it was cushioned by three layers of blankets.
"Stop moving," Arthur says tightly, "I need that kneecap."
"It's my bed," Merlin complains but he tries to keep still, mostly because he's too tired to argue.
A few minutes later, Arthur huffs as if Merlin's still moving, which he demonstratively isn't, and kicks his way under the blankets. "Roll over," he says.
"What?" Merlin asks. "Why?" He played this game with Will when they were kids; there's no way he's letting himself be tricked into rolling out of bed tonight.
"Because your bed is too small and we don't fit this way." Arthur grabs hold of Merlin's arm and pulls him around until Merlin collides rather heavily with - oh - Arthur's chest.
Merlin blinks at the broad expanse of red fabric for a minute but then, because it's apparently expected of him, lays his head tentatively just below Arthur's shoulder. Arthur's body heat is seeping through his shirt, reminding Merlin of just how cold he'd been riding back to Camelot.
Both of Arthur's arms come up around Merlin and maybe Merlin's just imagining it but they don't feel like they're just holding Merlin on the bed; they feel like they're holding him, full stop.
"Arthur?" Merlin asks. He hopes it doesn't sound like he's complaining.
"This is the only way we fit," Arthur says categorically.
"Okay," Merlin agrees even though he knows that's not precisely true.
It's cold in his room and Merlin is shivery with tiredness and because Arthur started this, Merlin reckons he's okay to press closer. Arthur's arms tighten and they don't say anything.
After several minutes of silence dozing, Arthur says gruffly, "You need a bigger bed."
Merlin's half asleep so it's easy to ask, "Do I?" and mean other things.
Arthur's fingers are tracing the shape of Merlin's spine as though he's curious about how Merlin is put together. "Perhaps not," he says thoughtfully.
