A fantastic weekend

Friday, I left from work and took a nap before getting in touch with azurethunder  and heating up to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner (delicious!) before he headed back to Western for quite a while as I didn't think I'd catch him again before hea left. After that I picked up some Honey BBQ boneless wings and head over to rantingmule 's to hang out for the weekend.  There was hanging out, drawing, watching TV and sleep.  On Saturday we headed to Asian Buffet and then we went to the Carousel Theater to see Avatar.  I was a little concerned that Kyle would have an issue with the 3D, but once the 3D commercials started, my worries were eased.  I think he liked it well enough. ^.^

Both of us are confused as to how/why Avatar hasn't taken over the furry community.  large blue tribal alien cat people on another planet and this doesn't get people's attention? Just go search on DA and you'll get thousands of Na'vi, but hardly any on FA. Weird.

Afterwards it was off to Barne's and Noble for the artwork book of Avatar and the Survival Guide then back to his place to draw and watch some TV series and chat before I had to leave.

Sunday we celebrated my mom's B-day at Braan's.  We left from there and I met up with Taki and others at Olive Garden (just a few feet away, basically) and said my hellos there.  They were going to go see a movie, but I didn't feel much like seeing/paying for another one, so I decided to head home instead.  However, once I got i my car, I gave Kyle another call and he mentioned he was having some issues with a drawing and I was in the area, so I hopped over and hung out until midnight and drove home.

Today's plan is to head back up to help Kyle prepare for his friend who's coming up from Texas.  Furniture moving, cleaning... I'm gonna have to crack the whip. ;)
