Tuesday evening, most of the snow had since melted (or sublimated/evaporated) and all that was left were frozen patches and a few determined clumps of snow left around the ground. By the time our game ended, there was a nice inch or two on the ground. And it didn't stop there! Yesterday it got deeper, and while it wasn't really anything but fluff when I got out of work, when I left the house of some new friends, it was a wonderful blizzard! Several inches had fallen and winds were blowing and roads were slick and ill-plowed. Beautiful lake-effect snow! :D
This morning I had to make 3 attempts to back out of our drive way just to get through the more densely packed snow that the snow plows had left. (the snow was just deep enough that my car's under-carriage was plowing through, but I had just enough traction to keep going, up to the point where the back tires would be hindered by the more dense snow.)
In all, this has been a pretty decent Winter, thus far... and it's not even the mid-point of January! :D
