The Large Hadron Collider was not only turned on today, but began initial tests that have had "some results", though full experiments and such won't really have any results until next year some time.
Google honored the event with a Google Graphic....

As some folks may have heard, Furnation is having troubles and may need to shut down on October 1st.
My hope is that they can strip out all of the unnecessary parts of the "service" (gallery hosting? Networking?) and at least leave the hosting part of it. *crosses fingers*  I have a LOT of links around the web that link to the files directly.  *sighs*  I'd hate to have so many dead links around.  *sighs*   With FAP going under on September 1st, and FA needing immediate donations just a few months ago, I think folks need to learn that if they want something, they're going to have to pay for it.  And people who offer these services need to learn how to manage the money and "business" of keeping a service afloat financially.

I'm heading to the Michigan Irish Music Festival in Muskegon on Friday and Saturday.  After that, I might go to Final Haven to stir up trouble... er.. tend to fires.  But we'll see.  Maybe if it's bad weather in Muskegon this weekend I'll go to FH anyways.

Gotta finish up a drawing for Prys' player before Friday too.  :(  Gotta work work work on that.
