(Yes, I meant to spell the tilte worng.) Hi, peoples. I have recovered since Buddy's passing. I still think about him a lot though. Anyway, I went to the hospital today! ^-^ Before all of my friends freak out, I just want to say that I am fine, and I blame it all on my allergies! You see, I have very bad allergies. (Stupid Marquard Curse! That's my family, the Marquards. Please dun try to pronounce it.) They make me sneeze and cough and very very itchy. Especially my eyes and throat. So, today at my Aunt Nona's, my eyes started itching pretty bad. Just another normal alergy attack. 9.9 Anyway, after I finished itching, I felt this lump on my eye, and it hurt when I blinked. I checked out in a bathroom mirror, and part of my right eye was swollen! (The eye ITSELF!) So, I had my Aunt Nona check it out, cause she's a certified nurse and everything. She said that she didn't know what it was, and that I should have it checked out. So I said, "You mean at a hospital?!" Guess what she said?
So, we had to call my Dad's, cause that's where my Military I.D. card is. (I have one cause MIckey's in the Army, and that makes me a dependent. It has my insurance on it.) Like always, it's busy. (Which is odd, cause Dad said noone was online or talking on the phone around the time I called. Weird.) So, we decieded to just go oer and get it. We stopped at Dad's, and everybody ahd to check out my eye. Then we left. The boys just grunted at my. I swear, their concern for my astounds me sometimes. ⌐.⌐U Dad made me promise to call him when we were done at the emergency room.
We had to deposit Na-na back at Aunt Susan's before we could go. Then, we were on our way! ^-^ (I brought a book, cause Dad said it would probably be about a 2 hr wait. Lovely.) When we got there, it was virtually empty except for this young couple who was in labor. (^-^ Good for them. Hope the baby was ok.) Anyway, first they took my blood pressure, pulse, and something to do with oxygen. I gave them my name and b-day. They had it on file, cause this was the hospital I was born at, Charlotte-Hugerford. They pronounced my fit as a fiddle, besides the thing proturding from my eye. (MInd you, this was not the examination. I dunno why they did THIS. It was fun just the same.) Then, we had to give them even MORE info, cause it had not been updated since my last vist there, when I think I was about 2. I dun remember it.
Then, we waited. Only about 15 mins. They called us in and me and Aunt Nona talked and joked around for a bit. Then, the P.A. came in. (P.A.=Physician's Assistant. Thanks Aunt Nona.) He checked out my eye, nearly blinding me with his little light thing-a-ma-bober, and said that it was Allergic Conjunctivitus. (Just an allergic reaction that makes part of the eye swell up.) He perscribed visine Allergy for the eyes, and Benadryl for the allergies. Visine were eye drops. *Shudder.* And that was my exciting trip to the hospital! I had fun! I'm gonna keep that little wristband they gave me, and all the papers with hospital info on it. I'll call today, 'The Day my Eye Swelled Up!'
