Indoor has higher scores. Faster paces make for a lot of work.

Soccer is the best thing ever. It's weird that I spent so long forgetting that.

I scored five goals today. I played two games. I scored twice in the first game and got a hat-trick in the second.

We lost the first game 8-7 which is more depressing than getting smashed because I know that if I'd tried a little bit harder we could have won. The team is cool though. The people seem pretty nice (and there's at least one really hot girl. no matter what other circumstances life throws at you, being around attractive people that smile a lot makes it better).

We won the second game by some unknown score. All I know is that we were down 3-0 at the beginning and I got us two goals that inspired a comeback and made the other team lose their thunder and play like crap. Then later there was another goal. It was a good game.

The second game was better than the first because there's no situation where winning isn't satisfying. Even when it's winning by so much (which this wasn't... quite) that you have to pull back and make sure you let the other side have fun. Even if that sort of craziness happens... you know. You know. Winning never feels bad. Getting destroyed doesn't bother me either. At least when you're being pummeled you know that you're just outclassed. It's when you play a REALLY close game of something that you feel awful when you lose. Being dead even and it not turning out in your favor just makes it feel like you didn't want it enough or try hard enough. If you lose 15-2 you don't think that sort of thing. You just go, "....fuck." And I'm all right with, "....fuck." I'm used to it.

Also, thanks to everyone who came out to watch the games. Most of you only saw Game 2. Which is good. Because it was the better one for me.

...But Game 1 had one thing Game 2 didn't. A really hot, good spirited girl on my team. I think I'll enjoy it more than I initially thought I would.
