Christmas plans

I finished my work in Moldova for this year and was about to fly back to London but then we decided that Helga and the kid would fly over here (and they did) and we would spend Christmas and the New Year here instead. With all those strict lockdowns and new virus mutations in the UK, we can have more freedom here, especially in the village, which is isolated and has had no cases so far so life is pretty much fully normal here and we will have a normal Christmas. The kid is so happy to be back in his beloved forest (and so are we).

We have been flying private for almost a year now. We flew from Spain in March when all this started on the last day before the airports closed but we already flew private (nobody knew what this virus was then and we had the kid's grandma who is in her 80s with us). I would happily go back to the commercial airlines and life as it was before all this though. I miss those full planes and buzzing airports and even those full airport restaurants. Bring it all back 2021.
