ME: Where? Is it strenuous? Will I die? Can I wear flipflops?

I put on my fabulous biker boots
clad still in my cute dress
put gidgets lovely pink leash on
we set out
not even out the front door
MOM: BRIAN!! There are raindrops!
BRIAN: Those arent raindrops!
ME: YES THEY ARE OMG!
BRIAN: Shut up sissies.
not even down the drive way....
ME: I SEE LIGHTNING!
BRIAN: That wasnt lightning. Wheres the thunder genius?
THUNDER STRIKES THAT EXACT MOMENT

Rain drops down in one single truckload over us
We all take off RUNNING to the house
Gidget refuses to walk
mom trips over minnie
muddy &wet we come to the front door again
through the sprinklers and the rain
this minute made my day.
