Let's see... I became a Greeter and a caseworker intern working with Miss Re-l Mayer. Mr. Creed approached me a little while after that to ask me if I was interested in working with the NPP. That's really all there is to it.
I'm the head of the Fundraising and Promotions committee-- which really isn't much of a committee, since the NPP is a pretty small group. It means I'm in charge of organizing events and activities to promote and fund the NPP. I also help Newcomerse with whatever they might need, if it's in my pwer to do so.
I think my favorite part of the job would have to be getting the chance to meet so many new people! Everyone brings something different with them, so I've learned a lot by working with them.
[ Poor Clark, the NPP isn't exactly composed of the sweetest people. ]
Well, that you can sometimes expect help from the most unexpected people, and that most people are willing to pitch in if you just ask! [ She laughs. ] They might not volunteer themselves for one reason or another, but if you give them the opportunity to participate, they do their best to get things done well.
I arrived in the city last February, so I've been here nearly five months. [ Though that sounds a lot longer than it's felt. ]
Maybe I should have felt a little weirder about arriving in a different dimension, but I come from 2008, so there wasn't a lot to adjust to as far as the technology was concerned. I suppose I could have been more shocked-- [ She laughs. ] But weirder things have happened.
Anyway, when people are so willing to help you out, it's not hard to settle in.

Hey. Maybe you just inspire them to greatness with your smile, Yako.

Now that's just giving me too much credit. I think most people would take the chance to do something good for others, if it's given to them.
