france lost! france frkin lost the world cup finals!! DAAAAMN!!! :(
1-1 then 5-3 on penalties. i can't believe they lost! :((
i hate italy even more now. hahaha! i don't even care if it was unsportsmanlike for zidane to headbutt materazzi on the chest.. i mean, for a man like zinedine zidane to do that, on his last night in professional football, marco materazzi surely had said something really really bad to tick him off like that. i hate buffon. i can't really tell if he's that a good keeper as they say he is, he probably is. but i just hate him. hahaha pardon my sourgraping :))
although i really feel bad for france's david trezeguet and their goalkeeper, fabien barthez. if you saw their faces after the penalty shootout, man, you'd feel the same. it was like they felt that it was their fault france lost the finals. nobody can blame coach domenech for bringing in wiltord and taking out henry, the man was injured from minute 1! hahaha! :D but oh well, maybe another world cup star wasn't meant to be for france this time around. :(
