... and more good news

I got an email yesterday saying that I got into the MBA program.

with a fellowship that covers 75% of tuition.

Also, I think I found a place to stay for my 6 weeks in Gulfport.

And I got the job at the Advocacy Center for the second half of the summer.

The big 450- volunteer Student Hurricane Network week is finished and went really well overall. We have about 60 volunteers coming in on Sunday to work next week and then the Spring Break trips season is done.

Tonight I'm hopping between SHN folks, college buddies who are in town, and late dinner/drinks with a law school friend and her visitors from Seattle.

Tomorrow involves filing income taxes with the Tulane volunteer program and then driving to Slidell to see some family.

Sunday is babysitting, reading/ outlining, SHN orientation and conference call.

Next week is oral arguments for my appellate brief, so I'll have that prep work and all the outlining I wasn't able to get done over Spring Break.

I'm sitting on a panel for prospective students on Friday, so that should be fun. Maybe I can convince all the awesome folks to come to Tulane.

On Saturday I might try to jet over to Mississippi to check out this potential housing situation for the summer. It's a contractor guy who rents out a lot of rooms in his big house and he's had summer law student workers live there in the past. It should be fine.
