Hey... heres a poem I wrote in LA class and I wanted to post it cuz I think its pretty good and wnated to get the opinion of my peeps... here it is... A'ight
You promised you'd write
And you'd love me forever
Your kiss was a beacon
Through stormy weather.
Desperately I fought,
To make it all work
But you started to treat me
Like just another jerk.
Everything was fine
As far as I could see
But a cute guy with a dime-bag
And you forgot about me
You said you still loved me
A love stronger with age
But you've broken my heart
Now I'm turning the page.
You broke all your promises
You betrayed my trust,
All for some drugs
And all for some lust.
So now we are over
We can't just be friends
After all that we've worked for,
Nine months comes to an end.
I've fought so hard
For something so dear
And sometimes even now
I wish you were here.
I can't ever hate you
I'm not glad that your gone,
But I won't dwell on what was
So I'm moving on.
