what a humptastic day!
Sitting at reception, covering for lunch. I needed more sleep last night i think. felt like dying earlier; definitely is hump day. but it looks like the sun is coming out, i might miss the nice showers in the evening during runs (i loved those).
Ooh, I did get my ipod mini. its wicked nice! i'm quite happy with it, one of the few things apple has done right...lol.
Another thing...for you lance armstrong fans, he's going to be doing a bike ride here in the beaverton/hillsboro/forrest grove area! The unfortunate part is that its in late september. boo. I guess im going to have to come home for a weekend to see him. I also know the sherriffs son so i would be able to get pretty good access to lance. i wonder if i still have time to transfer to PSU....
Last night was the first all comers track meet. It was pretty fun, i helped out a bit and saw some friends i hadn't seen in nearly a year. that was fun and i ran a 3k with almost completely even splits for each lap, wasnt a fast race for me but i impressed myself with the even splits. Next week i'll run the second half more like a race than a work out.
This weekend I'm pretty sure im going camping with some friends, i dont know where yet, but im sure its going to be a lot more fun than sitting around the house for 3 days. I need a 3 day weekend, especially after realizing that the summer in oregon is half over already.
