I Remember When....
I remember when ANTM first began. It was a little obscure show that I was curious about because it starred Tyra Banks. I was hooked. I cried when Adrianne won. I looked at each picture over and over. I watched marathon after marathon of every season. I looked online for any and everything written. I found this community and realized there were others like me. All ages, races, backgrounds, men and women, boys and girls. We were all hooked. It was so much fun! I couldn't wait for Wednesday night and 8:00. I log on to this community and have so much fun discussing the show. Each season became more and more disappointing but I still loved it. I went online and searched for NTM from other countries. I watched Germany's NTM and loved how Heidi was making the competition so much more realistic. I kept hoping each season that Tyra would do the same. Then I discovered Australia's NTM. Now that was everything that I every hoped the show would be in America! The girls were beautiful. The photo shoots were awesome. The clothes were amazing. Loved loved loved it!. I also watched Britain's and Canada's NTM. Now, alas, I think it is all coming to an end. This season doesn't even remotely resemble a modeling competition. Last night they sent home one of the only girls that had any potential. The only interesting one in the whole bunch. Now I read that Australia's NTM is cancelled for the the summer?!?! Life is over as I know it. An era has ended. *tear*.
