I don't know if this has been mentioned but Mikaela has a tumblr account where she talks about each episode and answers questions.

Here's what she had to say about ep 4
"I really felt like I did a great job on the runway, and I was very disappointed when I wasn’t mentioned in the top three.
I was actually disappointed with how I was represented in this entire episode. As an actor, I took the commercial quite seriously and I brought my A-game to the shoot. I wasn’t very nervous that day because I was so eager to do a great job. Of course, the only shot that was shown on t.v. was my last take of the 16-hour day, and I had just been given a Red Bull to drink so that I could wake up. I was actually very proud of the work that I did that day, and I will be the first to say when I have failed at something, but I really felt that I did a great job. It was also not shown on t.v. that Mr. J gave me nothing but positive feedback on my performance (so did Francesco).
Alas, things aren’t always as they appear. I am just glad that people are watching the show and enjoying it, hopefully!"
And on the disappearance of her weave at this week's panel
"Yeah, it wasn’t mentioned but the weave was taken out. Right after the commercial shoot, I went to the ER and the doctor there recommended that the weave be removed ASAP. I had developed a severe rash and I had sores on my head that were bleeding. I had to get a doctor’s approval though before it was removed. So the next day I spent eight hours at a hair salon getting it out. Molly and I were both late to panel!"
