Dear Top Model fans,
Does anyone else think this is one of the worst cycles ever? I know some of you are sick of my Negative Nancy-ness, but really, even for Top Model, these contestants are AT MOST mediocre. They all look like girls I would see walking in the mall. Usually there are at least 2 girls every cycle that are somewhat impressive and model-like. Not only that, but the photo shoots? AWFUL. There have been THREE group shots (including the last one...there were other people in it), one individual one (Children games? WTF?) and all of the concepts have been equally atrocious. Again, Top Model isn't known for its realistic photo shoots, but there are usually shoots that allow us to at least see model potential in these girls. All of these are so tacky and underwhelming it is sort of painful to watch. Lastly, the personalities. SNORE. They all seem like nice girls, but that's it. I like Celia's personality, but that's basically it. Notice how she has so much air time? Probably because she's the only one that has something interesting to say. Natalie, Fo, Tahlia (ARGH), Teyona, Allison, Kortnie, and others are, for lack of better words, snoozefests. It's sad that I'm writing all of this, so I will let you all talk amongst yourselves. What do you think of this cycle? Love it or hate it?
