Earlier, I posted something about Jaslene vs. Natasha, but there's actually an issue sort of similar that I've been meaning to discuss. It's always confused me, from the moment I saw the finale of cycle 7.
Does anyone else think that CariDee won unfairly? I'm not talking about breaking the rules or anything (COUGHSaleishaCOUGH), I mean... Just compared to Melrose I'm really not sure how she won the competition. Don't get me wrong, Melrose took amazing photos, but I disliked her as a person. Her attitude bothered me. But when you compare her photos to Caridee's... I mean, really. How did CariDee beat her? And think about it: Melrose was only in the bottom two twice -- once because she had a bad attitude (nothing to do with her modeling) and the other time hardly counts because it was down to the final three, so it was likely she would be in the bottom two. She was always called close to first during judging. She was consistently good throughout the entire season. Not to mention the fact that CariDee said that rude comment to Nigel AND delivered a terrible commercial. CariDee made so many mistakes during the season... in fact, all of the judges agreed that she was worse than Melrose during the final runway challenge. Plus, she looks like a 40 year old.
Does anyone else think that Melrose was more deserving, despite the fact that no one liked her? I can't say that I liked Melrose, but I still think she should have won. She was a better model, and she wanted it more. Truth be told, this was the only season of ANTM that I wasn't satisfied with as far as the winner goes. I didn't necessarily like some of the winners from the past, but they were all deserving of their title. CariDee, on the other hand...
