I haven't seen the episode yet ... but what in the hell was Mila's negative effect of smoking supposed to be? She looks like a reject from a Wes Craven movie.

Hair falling out due to chemotherapy.

I know Tyra wanted to make a stand, but I find that picture slightly offensive. I had to watch my mother lose her hair when she went through chemo, and know that nobody looks that busted when going through chemo. As a matter of fact, lung cancer patients don't lose their hair when they undergo cancer treatment.

That shot probably had the worst concept of them all. Then again, maybe I'm just overreacting.

I completely agree. That one was really over-the-top. People who go through chemotherapy (my mother included) do not look like that.

No you're right. I was trying to make that point in an earlier post as well.. that they had the nerve to toss Mila for laughing about the way she looked.

I miss when ANTM focused on fashion.

Hell I know a few women who had stillborns (not from drugs) and seeing that shot of whats-her-face holding the doll seemed a bit much. I bet Tyra has never had to deal with any of the issues she covered in those pictures.

Yeah.. nobody looks batshit crazy when they're going through chemo. It was freaking ridiculous! I would have cracked up too.

Tyra is absolutely horrible at trying to make statements. It's so cringe-worthy.

COMPLETELY agree. My mom recently went through chemo as well, and when her hair started coming out, she actually decided to just buzz the rest of it off so she didn't have to deal with the patches and such, which is a pretty common thing to do.

I highly doubt that someone suffering through hair loss from chemo would ever look like that unless they decided to glue the hair that had fallen off back onto their head. They gave Mila a fuckin' combover, pretty much. Come on.

i just want to say, first and foremost, that i think tyra banks is ridiculous and has NOOOO concept of enough being enough. having said that, nobody looks that beautiful in real life either. well, in mila's case, yes people look way more beautiful in real life. but i understand it if only for the contrast. and even though i'm coming to tyty's defense, its just because she got lucky, not necessarily because any thought went into it on her part.
