the guy who wrote it even made it idiot proff...so I was able to use it!



Ok I know this is kind of old, but I just watched Eurotrip again with Justin the other day and had totally forgotten about his funny as hell email notification wav file - “Mail motha fucka". It’s hilarious, so I found it and currently use it at home and work now.

You’re going to want to right click and “save link as…” btw.
Audio / Email Instructions for the non-computer iliterate:
Download and put in your C:/WINDOWS/Media folder.
Then goto START / Control Panel / Sounds and Audio Devices
Click the Sounds tab
Scroll down to where it says “New Mail Notification” and highlight it and click the browse next to it.
Browse to the C:/WINDOWS/Media folder and click on the “mail_muthafucka.wav” file and click OK.
Thats it really. Instructions are for Win XP but i’m sure it’s very similar across the board.

In mail, go to Mail > Preferences > General
go to the drop down for “New Mail Sound” and select add

To get “Mail Motha Fucka” to work for “MSN Messenger” follow these easy steps
Download the file “Mail Motha Fucka (Wav)”
Rename the file to “newemail”
Goto C:Program FilesMSN Messenger
Drop the newly renamed file “newemail” into this folder
You should be asked if you want to replace the existing file, click “Yes” DONE
To get “Mail Motha Fucka” to work for “Yahoo Messenger” follow these easy steps
Download the file “Mail Motha Fucka (Wav)”
Rename the file to “pow”
Goto C:Program FilesMessenger
Drop the newly renamed file “newemail” into this folder
You should be asked if you want to replace the existing file, click “Yes” DONE
To get “Mail Motha Fucka” to work for “Windows Messenger” follow these easy steps
Download the file “Mail Motha Fucka (Wav)”
Rename the file to “newemail”
Goto C:Program FilesYahoo!MessengerMedia
Drop the newly renamed file “pow” into this folder

Upon even greater request - I’ve found a link on how to add this to your AOL mail - even though I frickin hate aol… *sigh*
Here you go for you AOL users:
Here you go AOL users…
1). after downloading mail mutha fucka and saving it into a folder, go to the start menu and click on Control Panel.
2). When in Control Panel, double click Sound and Audio Devices.
3). when sound and audio devices menu comes up, click the Sounds tab at the top.
4). When in the sounds tab menu, go down to where it says AOL_US(your screenname), then go down to You’ve got mail.
5). Once you click on You’ve got mail, click the browse button at the bottom.
6). Once browse menu comes up go to the folder you put “mail mutha fucka” in and click on mail mutha fucka.
7). After you select the mail mutha fucka sound, hit apply on the sound and audio devices menu, then hit OK after hitting apply.
That should give you mail motha fucka. To check, go to the Expressions page and click your youve got mail sound.

I even inclued MAC and the assorted IM's so non outlook people could be as sway as me!
