[Souji's expression is a tad more uncertain than it usually is. There's also a hint of amusement there, dry though it is. He sighs before speaking.]In regards to the unicorn Nanako is seeing - it's just something on her communicator that she sees instead of more unsuitable things. I asked the Guardian to do something, and it seems like the unicorn ( Read more... )

A... unicorn? [ He'd be amused if that wasn't such an odd thought. ] The theme is befitting of this place, at least.

Honestly, at first I wasn't convinced that it wasn't just the fae. But it seems safe.

[Better than the alternative, certainly.]

[ He nods. ] Such direct intervention along the network would be cause for some alarm.

Mm. I don't like being overly cautious, but I wouldn't put it past them.

[ His eyes narrow for a moment, but he pushes that thought away. He doesn't want to admit that his general avoidance of the network is not due to fears about this very thing. Guilford's privacy is very important to him.

With some reluctance: ] The devices would still remain a valuable asset.

[Souji nods.]

I think we're better off with than without, definitely, even if they're not totally secure.

The convenience more than makes up for the lack of security, sometimes. [ A hard thing to admit, again, but as he's been out injured for several days, he appreciated being able to keep tabs on things without having to physically go anywhere. ]

It beats having a cellphone, certainly. Things may be basic here - especially by the standards of yourself and some others, I imagine - but so far I'd say we're getting by alright.

[Pretty good, actually, but he doesn't want to tempt fate.]

Our continued survival is well-assured, as far as we are able to do so... but, yes, I will admit that some conveniences are sorely missed.

I'd like it if we could see another world again. That was interesting, and useful, even if not... the nicest of experiences.

[ He quirks a brow. ] I have not heard of those occurrences with any amount of detail.

Ah, well - to my knowledge, it's only happened once. We went to Undercity, in Azeroth.

We were able to bring back a lot of supplies. Food, cloth, iron - Zelda and I were even able to bring back two horses.

Interesting. [ He seems to be mulling that over. ] ...is that how the Lancelot came to be here? An opening to our world? [ Guil had never asked, but he did find it pretty strange, now that he thought about it. ]

[Souji tilts his head, pensive.]

It's likely. It could have come in when Lloyd or Suzaku arrived, even.
