[Things have been a little hectic lately, huh, Demeleier?

He doesn't say it, but it runs through his mind when he opens the feed to speak. Deaths, disappearances, dances - they're becoming somewhat run of the mill in Demeleier. But it's not something Souji can get used to, not something he could begin to feel jaded about. That would be too much like trivialising everything. Too much like giving up. Too much like -

He clears his throat before speaking.]

As Aaron seems to have gone home, I'll be looking after the inn for the time being. I'd appreciate it if some of you who can cook would be willing to help out every so often - Nanako-chan, I know I can count on you, right?

[Because less people means more shifts, and more shifts means more leaving her at home, and that idea leaves a bad taste in his mouth. He continues with a cooler tone, more professional, almost.]

On the subject of gathering more food and resources for the winter, I'd like it if we could get a minimum of three groups of four together. If you have knowledge of hunting or gathering, or experience, I'm sure we'd all appreciate it if you'd be willing to help others learn, or guide one of the parties.

[He pauses, and there's the nigh on inaudible click as he swallows a sigh. It's almost funny, being left behind by friends. He's used to it being the other way around, after all.]

Specifically, I'm curious about whether or not we have any other capable skinners or miners? Without Avari, Faldain, and Aureln, is the forge without someone to tend to it? Even if we have enough metal to last us, the forge remains a secure place against the fae.

[There's a shuffling sound in the background, like folding paper. He goes quiet for a moment, then speaks up again.]

We'll probably need some warmer clothes, too. Would anyone be willing to help us with that?

[Say, punk bad boys who are really just hiding a heart of gold? A pause, and he smiles minutely:]

That aside, how is everyone doing?

[YOSUKE // 95%]

Hey.

[He considers skirting around the issue, the missing names, but decides on something simpler.]

You okay?

so many part time jobs, the magician, such a nice young lad, dananananananana leader, he's a helper, cooking doesn't get tougher than this
