Intimacy

What is the most intimate thing you have said to another person?

Depending on what 'intimacy' means to you, it could be something positive, negative, private about yourself, a personal story/event/moment you've shared with another person, etc. Anything.

i'm a really closed person, but occasionally, i'll open up myself and let people really know what I am like and my insecurities. over the past two years, i have gotten to know this guy very well. i love him like a brother, and because i value his opinion so much, i spent a better part of these two years acting like someone who isn't broken/whatever i am. earlier this year in april, i wrote him a letter as a part of his birthday present that hinted that i was a very broken person, but with him (and my friends and everything else) in my life, i'm finally on a good path. he was very sweet when we finally talked about what i wrote to him, and it made us even closer.

the true "intimate" moment though was when saying goodbye to him a week ago, i sent him a text message explaining a few more things he needed to know and his impact on my life. as i was walking away, i got a text message saying, "you have no idea what that means to me. love you big sis!" and I dunno. it was just a good moment. i rarely open up to people, and he proved that sometimes my walls are very unnecessary. he also made me feel good that he called me "big sis" before i even said anything about loving him like a brother.
