I don't know if anyone knows... but I'm in Europe.
Glasgow, to be specific. We've already done London, Stratford, York, and Edinburgh, and a couple of little towns, and tomorrow it's off to Belfast. Then Kilkenny, Dublin, Bath, Stonehenge... a lot.
Today we stood in the Edinburgh Castle, which is the second largest castle in Britain, and impressive as all get out.. It's probably the coolest castle, because it's at the top of a *giant rock cliff* that's almost straight up, and would be impossible to climb on it's own, but then there are giant castle walls coming right out of it, on the same plane as the rock, so it just gets harder to climb.. there's no way attackers in the 1400s could manage.
It's crazy... most of these cities don't have high-rises... even the actual city-cities. Every building is at least 100 years old, most of them 400 years old... and the shops were just put inside. We saw the oldest building in York, and it was from the 1300s, and on the main floor it was a shoe store. And they're all like that... these incredibly old buildings just adapted for modern use. It's amazing.
I'll update with more later, and pictures too.
