It's that time of year...

So I met with my academic adviser this afternoon. I had been planning to take math methods (a 6 hour class), reading methods (another six hour class), and either Health for Educators or Intro to Creative Writing, for a total of 15 hours.

He *really strongly* recommended that I take both of my options, for a total of 18 hours.

At a glance, my financial aid will cover that. The schedule is workable. He's convinced I can handle it academically. I just...wow. 18 hours is a lot. On the other hand, it's only four classes, and one of them is freaking *health*. On the other other hand, the methods classes are killer, with a lot of projects (and the math one includes 25 hours of field experience). And the ENG class will undoubtedly have a shit-ton of writing assignments.

I'm leaning toward doing it, because it means graduating that much faster, but...ugh. And I was hoping to get a part-time job this semester too. I would worry that all this will kill me, but...I dunno if I can fit dying into that schedule.
