Since today is A's birfday (happy birfday! I love you) I went with her last night to a concert that I would not normally have attended. ;) Here are my impressions in brief:
Defcon: Slightly chubby. Very silly. Overly reliant on hairography and uplighting.
Left Spine Down: Lead singer looks a bit like Puck from Glee but with sillier hair(!). He also dances like Kermit the Frog. -10 points for calling their genre "cyberpunk" because, OMG, cyberpunk, that's so 1988. I liked them and will be trying to find some of their music.
Chemlab: Best show of the night. Highly amusing.
16 Volt: Okay, but they sound better on CD, honestly. I was very proud of myself for recognizing like four songs.
In other news, I have a killer final exam in my American Education class today. Wish me luck.
