i've been trying to come up with the words to describe this past Thanksgiving break and how much it meant to me to be able to see and spend good time with my most loved friends and family (one-in-the-same?), but I cant seem to get it all in. I guess it doesn't matter so much. I had a great time, and I have many more to look forward to, for sure.
And now, Christmas is upon us!
Can finally bust out the ol' Love Actually DVD. I half watched it last night, but I had some Sign Language homework to do, so i didnt pay a lot of attention. Planning to watch it again tonight.
Also, I am declaring that mistletoe rules are in effect. I dont think enough people abide by this tradition, and it is one that I want to bring back. So everybody watch where your standing and who your standing with, because i am enforcing the kiss this year. It'll be nice, I swear. Anybody else down?
Im gonna make some MonkeyBread...and cookies...and other delicious holiday treats. mmmmmm christmas.
I was kinda stressing out about only having two weeks to get all of my stuff done before the end of the semester, but I am feeling better now. I got two big things done last night (turned in today), and I am half finished with one other assignment. After that i will basically just have a short paper to write and a couple of tests. The only thing I really need to worry about is my government final, but Im going to go to class everyday for the next couple of weeks and hopefully this will help me.
Gonna need some ideas for Christmas presents, guys. You know the drill.
Not sure what my Christmas Break schedule is going to be like yet, but when i figure it out I will let you all know. I do know I will be going to Kentucky on ChristmasEveEve to see mi madre y Mark y Einstein, and probably wont be back until a couple days after Christmas. Planning to be in Austin for New Years. Not sure bout anything else, though.
Bought the new Damien Rice CD this weekend, but I have yet to listen to it all the way through. I basically keep putting it on while im in bed sleeping, so, yeah, havent heard it all yet. My dreams like it, though.
In my conscious state I cant stop listening to M. Ward.
