Ok, seriously.

I didn't ask to grow up next door to him. I didn't ask for him to be a bleeding good writer with his stuff read out loud by every stupid sodding teacher since grade school. NO, IT'S NOT.

He's done a lot more to me, too.

In seventh form he STOLE ALL MY COMIC BOOKS He said he needed them for inspiration. Bollocks he did, he ( Read more... )

Christopher, you simply have to stop living in someone else's shadow and be proud of what you do.

How was that for some after school television show advice?

How can I be proud of what I do when HE'S BETTER AT IT!!! Well, he's nowhere near as good as I am, really, it's just that he gets all the credit.

Because like a flower to blush unseen, wasting away in the desert air...

I thought if I quoted some fancy poetry it would help with my reply. But it didn't. So I'm just going to say stop worrying about who gets credit for what and do something that'll stand out in people's minds.

I should clarify. Do something as in write one hell of a poem or short story or play. Not do something as in run naked down the street in the middle of the day.

Did you know that you rhyme even when you're not trying? It's really creepy.

Thank you. I take pride in knowing that I have creepy ways of talking.

It's not really something to take pride in. It's more of a "I point out your tragic flaw, you try to correct it." Maybe if you didn't do drugs you wouldn't have such creepy ways of talking.

And maybe if you attempted to experiment with mind altering substances once in a while you wouldn't go around trying to correct tragic flaws of the general student body, which in my mind aren't really all that tragic.

That's so righteous of you. Should I get you a black robe with a white collar to go along with that foul predisposition?

Please don't tell me you're one of those idiots who believe that the mind is the new God; infaliable and all the secrets of life are either hidden in or can be found out by it.

At least I'm not one of those idiots who sits around and does drugs all the time because they want a 'high' or 'experience'. I know that 'drugs' aren't the 'answer' and that the only time it's ok to be high is if you're in an airplane or simply 'high on life'.

First of all, I do not do drugs to get "high". Honestly, do your homework before you start accusing me of such juvenile practices. Marajana, alcohol, Rush, mushrooms, ect. are not there to get me high and giggle like a fool.

You are trapped in yourself, in your body and mind, by default. These substances allow you to experience a different state of being. You think in a different fashion, you feel different, it opens your mind to alternatives; life does not have to be what it always was.

They answer nothing. Rather they raise more questions.

Questions like "Where is my next fix coming from" or "How can I sell my parents china to pay for my illegal substance habit that will lead me down a dangerous, and finally, miserable end of existence?"

The ONLY question I have to answer is "What is my anti-drug?!"

Anti-drugs change with time, whereas one's drug of choice is a comfort. It's a constant. It'll always be there (unless you chose to sell your Mother's fine china because you ran out). So in that sense, isn't finding an anti-drug a little more nerve racking?

But honestly, I'm afraid that you're confusing me with my friend Samuel.
