I'll just equip my...FOUR WHEELS OF FURY!!!

Hello interweb, remember me? Yeah so apparently the last time I updated was about a year and a half ago, which is clearly far too long for the fawning masses to be deprived of my razor wit. Well today, my children, read on and be saved, for your messiah has returned.

I suppose I stopped writing because good things stopped happening. I'll recap, for those of you who aren't in the know: I moved to Arizona with a bunch of money and a fancy car, and I left Arizona with a baggie full of coins and no car at all. Yes, that's right, I said baggie. I sold the jar the coins were in so I could buy more coins. IT'S COMPLICATED, OKAY??? I never claimed to be any good at making decisions.

Anyway, it was pretty sobering to be such a great independent success for 5 years and then all of a sudden be living with your mom in Indiana. I mean really, Indiana? Every newborn baby is delivered with a complimentary mullet. Thankfully, I rebuilt my bankroll, bought a car, got out of there. I am now living with Brandon and two other fine gentlemen in a nice house in Rochester, Michigan.

What else? I guess I had two decently serious relationships in the meanwhile, so you all got to avoid hearing about that drama. I think I've changed a lot, but I can't really explain how. Perhaps later when I'm feeling more reflective. I know that the hardest part of this whole experience has been all the doubters who say "This is what happens when you gamble", "Poker is no way to make a living". Fuck your negativity. It's so easy to criticize something when it's going badly, discounting the 5+ years when it hasn't. I moved up and took my shot and I got crushed, oh well, shit happens. It doesn't make me a failure or a degenerate (although I am a degenerate anyway >_>).

Also remember, they say happiness is fleeting, but my advice to you: sadness is fleeting also. When you achieve happiness, hold it there in your heart and don't be afraid of losing it. Just enjoy it while you can. And when you are feeling your worst, look to the future rather than the past. You will find more answers there.

I'll write again soon.
