And it is easier said than done. But I have had this defense since my father died ten years ago. I'm well learned in Poker Face by now.

I wish I could. Unfortunately, even with my normal skills I'm not that kind of magician. I -used- to have wicked good luck, but that appeared to slip out of the scene once I washed up.

Unfortunately, I don't think it's working. First I crashed into the sea in the middle of a storm and landed here someone (okay, my luck was the only thing keeping me alive, but I'm still here, aren't I?), then I get caught in a freak snowstorm and would have frozen to death if the hospital hadn't been right there. And now I'm pretty sure at least two people here wish for my death. >.> I just meet all sorts of unpleasant people.
