I can't say for certain. It seems to be fixed so that one can only find books that pertain to them. So for the most part I've only found books on gardens and good housekeeping...

Though Mr. Snicket and I did find a loophole. Once a book has been checked out, they can share it with anyone, whether the book pertains to them or not.

Excellent! The loophole, I mean.

Though, what would happen if two people went to the library together?

I don't know. We haven't tried before. My guess would be that as soon as one person found the book and took it off the shelf then the other would be allowed to see it as well.

So the books are there, we just can't see them or touch them? Or do they simply appear based on who walks in? This is all very curious... and definitely something worth looking into. Thank you, Miss Jenkins.

It is like being distracted from all other books. All the ones you aren't supposed to find for yourself.

You are quite welcome.

Curious indeed. But no matter for now... is there anything I can do for you in return?

Oh no. That isn't necessary, but thank you.
