I wholly believe that is their goal.

They may very well fool the people in town who want to take out all their anger on something. These "suspects" are all in danger, and not from Mayfield directly.

I certainly hope they won't believe that broadcast. I wouldn't trust the authorities here as far as I could toss them, not after what I've seen happen in this city.

But that is one reason why I'm trying to help those "suspects" that I know personally.

There are dangerous people who have been brought here who may be simply looking for an excuse to lash out at people like Simon and America for...recent events. Whether the authorities are reliable are not will matter little to them.

It is smart to do so. If it were up to me, they would not be let out on their own until we get to the bottom of all this.

An excellent idea. I'm afraid I can only be helpful to those I know -- I trust the rest have friends they can rely on.

Yes. I wish you good luck, and I urge you to pass it on to anyone who may be a friend-of-a-friend.

What is your name? You may call me Germany, or Ludwig if it is preferable.

The same.

Ger...!? [He doesn't have the time to point and laugh at the crazies that think they're countries right now. Besides, it wouldn't be gentlemanly.]

Professor Hershel Layton. I wish it could have been under better circumstances, Mr. Ludwig.

*one of England's, from the sounds of the name..*

We...cannot chose when we meet those who may change our lives for the worse, or better... *trails off, thoughtful because of recent Stuff* ..Mm. Never mind, do not mind me.

Which of the suspects do you know, if I may ask, Professor? Alfred *didn't Germany say 'America' just a little bit ago..?*, Simon, and Kiku are first on my list to check on.

Luke and Sideswipe. Simon to a lesser degree -- he was assigned to the same house as my daughter.

Ah-- He mentioned Flora being his sister, yes.

I... I was Simon's "father figure" the first time he was brought to Mayfield; we were close, though it hasn't been the same since he came back without any recollection of his previous stay. I do have an idea what is going through his head, though.

I hope that Flora will help him...

She was assigned as his mother, actually, but she's rather young.

I see. I'm afraid I'm more worried for Flora at the moment, though.

I see.. I've also had someone rather young be assigned as my wife. She was...special. =_=

I will inform you of any news I hear at all from their house, you have my word.
