I don't think this is plain at all. In fact, reading up on the two that he ranks the highest on, it would go hand in hand to the reasons why he reacts the way he does. The moderate levels means that the potential, if left untreated or ignored by someone that can spot it, would result in a catastrophic event in his personality that could become a bigger issue.
It just tells me that he can blow up and he can become very paranoid in his manner of thinking. I think the results are great!
Re: Shiro ResultstophatcandycaneDecember 4 2009, 23:40:18 UTC
XD Yeah. Just as a Mary Sue would have all lows, and Angsty Sue would have all highs or very highs. It's better not to have too many highs or very highs then that becomes unrealistic too. For a good guy, Willy does have the potential to slip to the darkside.
The same goes for Shika too. Both of our boys have learned how to hide very well which really makes a lot of sense considering both have high narcissistic tendencies which means that they're going to look after how they present themselves to others.
Re: Shiro Resultsmeno_nikephorosDecember 4 2009, 23:48:15 UTC
Mm, exactly, but to be honest it's the slips to the darkside which are sometime the most interesting to write. Little!Shiki's having to deal with the seemingly innate killer instincts he has during this experiment. The fact is normal!Shiki would deal with half the stuff he is completely fine. Younger him's as pale as a sheet and is a lot more noticably uncomfortable with everything
Re: Shiro ResultstophatcandycaneDecember 4 2009, 23:54:21 UTC
Wow, now that is something noteworthy in the book of doom. So younger Shiki hasn't figured it out yet that he's teetering on that fine line yet? Come to think of it, if our two boys get out of this event without feeling as if they are being pulled down the dark path, it would be interesting to see how these two will cope later on.
Re: Shiro ResultstophatcandycaneDecember 5 2009, 00:02:59 UTC
Ahh. Nice! Certainly makes sense to me. So Shiro's learning from his father's mistakes?
Shiki without his complexes wouldn't be as interesting as he is now. That would be like taking away Willy's eccentricities. They would be rather plain. I love these two the way they are. XD I like that I made Young Willy nerdy, wordy, and weird at the same time.
Re: Shiro Resultsmeno_nikephorosDecember 5 2009, 00:21:09 UTC
If you can call the original Shiro his father - then yeah. From remembering the original's life he knows all of his phobias, his darkest thoughts and the worst thing is gets blamed for each mistake. He's pretty unsure whether he should live life as a new person or pick up the pieces left by the original.
Yeah - I think they're both pretty damned awesome. I have played Shiki without his complexes as hardcore before..he's...unsurprisingly fairly melancholic at times - the only time he gets aggressive is when his illness hits...or when someone threatens Akira.
But Nerdy is always awesome in characters, especially smart and wordy nerds - he's a very likeable mix actually
Re: Shiro ResultstophatcandycaneDecember 5 2009, 00:26:46 UTC
Thanks!!
You know, now that you mention the differences in the Shiro's it would be interesting to see which path he actually takes. Hm, so many different and interesting paths to take. Wow!
Re: Shiro Resultsmeno_nikephorosDecember 5 2009, 00:39:03 UTC
I know xD;; I've been developing for about 2-3 years now, and I still haven't worked it out. He feels as though he should take responsibility for it sometimes, all because he knows people like someone to blame. But other times he does want to turn around and tell them to go bitch at the original's grave. Though admittedly it's usually Falkea that voices that (Shiro's brother)
Re: Shiro ResultstophatcandycaneDecember 5 2009, 00:43:49 UTC
Oh gawd yes. It's so much easier for people to blame others than for people to take responsibility for the actions and troubles they caused. Makes me wonder at times just how much people will do just to get one part of their lives right.
Being that Shiro is a clone, does he still remember his past lives?
Re: Shiro ResultstophatcandycaneDecember 5 2009, 01:00:49 UTC
Ouch. Way to pour salt on the wound, brother! Yeah, now hearing that, I can totally see the reason why he would snap. I know I would...but then again, I'm not a demon summoner either so that makes little sense.

rather plain results o.o..

It'd just be incredibly unbelievable if he was high on everything and to be honest I'd be wondering how he'd managed to last so long in life. >_>;;;

I'm..not sure I can imagine Shiki without all his complexes - it's half of what makes him interesting. And Willy's amazing with his eccentricities!

Yep, very vividly as if they were his own memories - hence why he had a temporary breakdown when he found he was 'just a fake' as Falkea put it.
