The Doctor had the freedom to go anywhere in the universe at a touch of a button. At a snap of a finger he could open the Tardis doors and sweep you away to the far reaches of the universe. Any famous event in time you could think of he was there in a second.
Travelling with the Doctor was an experience of a life time and what came with it was the freedom to go anywhere you wanted (if you asked nicely of course).
The best part was the running.
The worst part was saying goodbye.
We were free.
