I have to say that I can't decipher if they are all concerned about James and Jack spending some time together--and maybe being attracted to one another--because they are afraid James might get hurt (or create conflicts between Jack and Ianto) or if all the characters except Jame know something that us readers don't. Anyway, I enjoy this ambiguity and the fact that there is obviously more than meet the eyes.
And actually I really do want to see something happen between Jack and James.
I hope it makes sense, writing in English doesn't come easily for me.
