The sun was shining over Cardiff. People were going on with their lives unaware of prying eyes watching from above. It might have been the middle of summer but to the man standing on the rooftop it was definitely winter.
He knew that it was going to happen. That he was going to lose his lover, friend, the man who he could talk to. Tears formed in his eyes, he wasn’t ready to move on yet but someday he would be.
Now it might be winter in his mind and below him summer.
But with Ianto it was always spring.
