I think It's time for an update
Lately it's been busy here with university, writing and the like. So going to split into sections.
University
I have been back at University for three weeks now and everything has been going well. Tuesday's lectures have been interesting, so far they have been about the Ship of Theseus, Nuclear power and how technology is affecting jobs. Next Tuesday's is about Shakespeare and how someone contested his cultural authority. Thursday's lectures is about maths so yeah they are pretty boring but they finish off with interesting scientific videos from YouTube. So I've also had to do homework which isn't too hard.
Writing
Well trying to write mypaperlegends but it's been difficult. I just need the motivation to do it and it doesn't help that it's now impossible for me to join in with the write in chat because of time differences. It's too late in the evening and I'm asleep by then. Also discovered that Merlin isn't really my fandom. I love the show but I just don't fit in with everything. I should stick to Doctor Who and possibly Sherlock.
Last weekend I posted my porn battle fic Frottage Sweetie? to my LJ. It's River/ Eleven which is like my new OTP, ever since they flirted on Day of the Moon.
Reading
All the books I have read lately are on my Goodreads but recently I finished American Gods by Neil Gaiman which I found brilliant and odd. At the moment I'm re-reading Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Afterwards going to take a break from reading until I buy some books I want to read including The Last Four Things by Paul Hoffman, The Hypnotist by Lars Kepler, Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke and Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman. If there are any books you would like to recommend then go ahead, they are very welcome.
Television
I'm loving Doctor Who so far and enjoyed The Doctor's Wife. I believe Neil Gaiman should write more Doctor Who episodes. Merlin series 3 has finally started here and this week I believe Gwaine is introduced but just have to wait to see. Last week's episode had a Goblin and it was very funny. Downton Abbey starts on Sunday here which I'm really looking forward to. It's a costume drama which I've heard so many great things about.
So how is everybody else?
