Yay, Doctor Who is back and other things

On Friday my family celebrated three events, my brother's 20th birthday, my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary and of course the Royal Wedding. The day didn't start well with a four hour blackout, so yeah wasn't very happy. Dinner went well though and the Royal wedding was lovely. I really liked Kate's dress and we all clapped when they kissed on the balcony. I wish them long years ahead of them.

Really enjoyed the first episode of Doctor Who. Steven Moffat really impressed me, even though it was confusing in parts, the humour made up for it. I feel that Series 6 is going to be the best yet, whatever anyone else thinks. I just what to know who River Song is now.

Merlin S3 starts on Sunday which I'm happy about since I'll finally get to see it.

Last night I had my first lecture back at Uni and the first one for Topic 2, which deals with a range of in-depth topics. Last night was a philosophy lecture about the Theseus Ship and the question about if it's still a ship if you change all the parts over time. There was also a twist involving two ships and which one would be the Theseus Ship.Let's just say it was really confusing, maybe even more than the first Doctor Who episode. Seriously I got a headache just thinking about the question and the possible answers. Next week is a lecture about nuclear power, which I guess won't be such a challenging subject.

Also yesterday I went out to buy my mum a Mother's Day present and card. I ended up getting her Josh Grobin's CD and I also bought Clone on DVD for myself. I really enjoyed Clone when I saw it awhile ago. It's a comedy about a experiment that goes wrong and the consequences. Mark Gatiss is in it as Colonel Black, the head of MI7, who is behind the experiment. He was just superb in it so looking forward to watching it again.

So how is everybody else?
