Doctor Who: The Beast Below - My thoughts

I really enjoyed this episode, here are my thoughts:

1. Starship UK was a fantastic concept. A whole country gathered up on to one huge ship. Well except Scotland who wanted their own ship. As Amelia said, "Some things never change". I like to think that there was a Starship Australia out there saving themselves from the solar flares.

2. The scene with Amy floating outside the Tardis was awesome. It reminds you that anything with the Doctor isn't what we call normal.

3. Matt Smith and Karen Gillian both did a great job in this episode.

4. The political tones of this episode were very well done. The concept on how the people had to vote was very interesting, especially that somehow they wanted to forget than protest. It just showed that people would rather be ignorant than stand up for what they believe in, especially when threatened.

5. The Space Whale was awesome but it was sad how it had been treated. I like that Amy was the one who figured it out by using the Doctor's advice. Ok so it compared the Space Whale to the Doctor a little too much but it was still wonderful.

6. Winston Churchill calling the Doctor! Classic and I'm so looking forward to next week's episode.

Woo! Bring on the rest of the series because it's a good one!
