....but he sounds like a decent young chap. More on that later.
At the moment the ABC is showing
Whitechapel, a three part British mystery starring Rupert Penry-Jones (Spooks/MI5), Phil Davis and Steve Pemberton. Basically it's about a modern day Jack the Ripper who is copying the original Ripper, right down to the very gruesome details in the original case. It's very gritty and has black humour. It very good so far and I can't wait for the conclusion next Friday.
I saw the finale of White Collar and enjoyed it immensely. I won't go into details since a lot of people have already seen it but yeah I can't wait for series 2. There was a very slashy moment between Peter and Neal before the explosion. Ok so I said before it wasn't slash but sometimes it does have slashy moments. I'm going good with my White Collar fic so far, realising that I have to use American spelling to differentiate between Nick Caswell and Neal Caffrey because Nick Caswell is British and yeah it's going to sound weird if they both sound British.
Alright on Monday, the Chris Moyles Show interviewed the new Doctor Matt Smith on the phone. They of course talked about Doctor Who and how it's going to take fans time to adjust to the new Doctor. Well during the interview Chris Moyles talked about how Matt Smith would have to deal with the negative aspects of the show then proceeded to name John Barrowman, then joked about how he was like reserved about things and such. It turns out Matt has talked to John a few times and gets along with him, then revealed that he hadn't talked with John lately.
Chris: that's because he's ponced off to America and doing Desperate Housewives
Dave: Yeah he's hanging around Wisteria Lane
Matt: What's Wisteria Lane?
Seriously that made me laugh but you can't blame him, I don't think a lot of people in Britain wouldn't know that either. I didn't get to hear this until Friday when the Podcast was released.
So yeah, Whitechapel is awesome, White Collar has finished John Barrowman is a negative aspect and Matt Smith doesn't know Wisteria Lane.
What a great start to the Easter long weekend.
Also day light savings finishes tonight in Australia, yay we gain an hour.
